Bitter gourd recipe with salted egg yolk stashed!

300g bitter gourd
2 salted egg yolks
1 tbsp butter

1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar

  1. Steam the salted egg yolk until it is cooked
  2. Remove the egg white and crush the egg yolks into a paste
  3. Wash the bitter melon and cut into thin slices
  4. Parboil the melon pieces in some boiling water with some sugar and cooking oil
  5. Melt the butter in a wok on low heat
  6. Add the egg yolk and stir fry for a while
  7. Add the bitter melon pieces and seasonings
  8. Stir to coat with the egg yolk
  9. Plate and serve
