Psalm 23:6

I have been taught that I need to work hard and chase after the good things in life. Yet, Psalm 23:6 says that goodness and mercy FOLLOW me. Not only that, the Hebrew word for “Follow” is “RADAPH” [H7291] which means to pursue, to hunt. It denotes speed.

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 

2 Corinthian 12:9

Goodness and mercy is grace from God. I do not deserve them. The truth that goodness and mercy pursue me is sufficient for me. It is my strength for every day of my life.
