This In The Footsteps of Paul playlist consists of 3 documentary series where the hosts undertook journeys inspired by the life and travels of the Apostle Paul across the Mediterranean from Israel, Turkey, Greece to Italy.

While preparing for my first trip to Turkey, I came across mentions of Apostle Paul’s hometown of Tarsus, which is in modern-day Turkey, and also other places that he preached in that were in Turkey.

Paul, originally called Saul of Tarsus, was one of the leaders of the first generation Christians. He is known as the Apostle to the Gentiles because he was believed to have travelled some 10,000 miles by foot across the lands of the Roman Empire, preaching the good news of Jesus Christ. The other apostles stayed mostly in Judah.

I am excited that I may get to visit these places myself soon. What better way to prepare than to find more materials regarding Paul’s travels. Besides reading the Books of Acts and Paul’s epistles, I also found the following documentaries helpful.

These documentaries are available to view on Youtube. But I find organizing them here in sequence make it easier to watch them as well as return to them. Suchet has another documentary series on Apostle Peter and the uploader labeled one of the episodes as belonging to Paul’s. I am not sure if he did it on purpose but it is confusing to say the least.
