Lyrics for Here is Love plus covers by Matt Redman, Michael Bird, and a Welsh version

Here Is Love is a Welsh hymn associated with the Welsh revival of 1904. Besides the beautiful lyrics that told of God’s vast love, a couple of different covers from Youtube that I find really ministering are included here. This hymn was also sung by Pastor Joseph Prince and can be found in the album “Here is Love”.

Lyrics for Here is Love

Here is love, vast as the ocean
Lovingkindness as the flood
When the Prince of life, our ransom
Shed for us His precious blood

Who His love will not remember
Who can cease to sing His praise
He can never be forgotten
Throughout heaven’s eternal days

On the mount of crucifixion
Fountains opened deep and wide
Through the floodgates of God’s mercy
Flowed a vast and gracious tide

Grace and love, like mighty rivers
Poured incessant from above
And heaven’s pace and perfect justice
Kissed a guilty world in love

It is interesting how a search for a classic hymn can lead to a story of a revival in Wales in 1904 and the man Evan Roberts, credited with starting the revival. Here is a list of books on the subject matter.
