Your Grace is Sufficient is written by Marty Nystrom and Claire Cloninger in 1991. It is inspired by 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.

Have you noticed that the more you try to “improve” yourself, the worse it get?
It is because we are trying to do so with our own strength. Whether it is a bad habit or addiction or character/personality trait, it gets worse when you try to do something about it without Jesus.
I find the 2 Corinthians 12:9 verse comforting. It means that Jesus know how we feel and think. And He told us not to labour without Him.
The verse doesn’t mean that we ignore or deny that we have weaknesses. How can weaknesses not be changed in the presence of Christ?
It is wonderful to be able to lay our weaknesses at Jesus’ feet. He has said that His power is made perfect in weakness. Our weaknesses are not something to be regretful about. In our weaknesses, we receive and experience Christ’s power.
What is a better source of power? Our own or Christ? Christ of course right?
